It was exactly one year ago on October 5th that I took over the keys to my first studio – back then, it was just a personal creative space. Since then, it has become a real community space, full of creative energy, laughter and beautiful creations. We celebrated this occasion with a close circle of friends over the weekend.
However, I am grateful to everyone who participated in one of our workshops, created with us, inspired us – without you, Atelier D7 would not have become what it is today!
Over the past year, we have experienced many special moments together: the country's first charm bracelet workshop,the crochet bag workshop, and most recently the Italian charm bracelet workshop, which was also the first to appear in Hungary's creative workshop scene as well. In June, we moved to the heart of the city, to the 6th district, where we can welcome you in even larger space, but still comfortably, in 60 square meters. We held picnics, birthdays, bachelorette parties, we toasted together and ate cakes together.
I am especially happy that my best friend, Viki, started the crochet bag workshops this spring, with cheerful, bright colors, and that she taught me how to crochet, which still relaxes me in the evenings! The Sunday crocheting sessions have grown into a real community experience, where most participants join as complete beginners, but leave with a sense of success and a wonderful bag at the end of the workshop.
In addition to on-site events, birthdays and hen parties, we were also invited to the Strand Festival, where we held a beading workshop for 4 days. It was a fantastic experience to plan and implement this event with the help of the organizers, it was a milestone in the life of the studio! In September, we held a workshop at Club Tihany for a company team building event of nearly 1000 people, which was also a unique experience for us. On October 11, 2025, we will hold a workshop at the Imagine Wedding Show-and on October 19, we will also organize the first wardrobe sale in the studio in the spirit of sustainability.
These experiences have shaped not only the studio, but also me a lot - they have always given me new inspiration and momentum to continue. And this is just the beginning! Exciting new workshop types and collaborations are coming soon: we are preparing special experiences and workshops with a beauty brand, a pilates instructor and other creative partners for the fall-winter period and the new year.
