In October 2024, a dream came true: I founded my own studio in Budapest, where I organized Hungary's first charm bracelet workshop in December. Back then, we only started in a small, cozy studio, but it soon became clear that something special was born - this workshop quickly became our most popular program.
The magic is simple: everyone can put together their own bracelet with us, choosing from thousands of different charms. The charms are available in silver and gold, which can symbolize your dreams, your personality or a special memory from your life. The chains and clasps are all made of stainless steel, so they are waterproof, wear-resistant and will accompany you as quality jewelry in the long term.
At the beginning of the year, the focus was on manifestation and motivational bracelets, to which we also paired inspirational cards - each charm carried a message. Since then, the range has been constantly expanding: today you can make not only charm bracelets, but also necklaces, anklets and bag charms with us.
Creativity, community and therapy
As a founder, photographer and creative professional, I have always believed that creating by hand has therapeutic power. For me, Atelier D7 is not only a studio, but also an inclusive community where everyone can be themselves. A space where we can slow down, talk, laugh and create something personal in the process. Even though everyone makes the same “product” in our workshops, the creation will be unique to us.
My most important goal is that every participant in Atelier D7 experiences the joy of creative self-expression, and that the time spent with us is not just a workshop, but an experience that gives spiritual recharge, a way out of the everyday rush.
New experiences and development
In 2025, we brought you a lot of new experiences. In the spring, our charm jewelry making and crochet picnic in the City Park kicked off the season, and in May we launched the crochet bag workshop led by Viki Unger, which started a real crochet fever in Budapest – and the country as well.
Due to the growing interest and the sold-out events, we moved to a larger, 60 sqm studio in the heart of Budapest, on Szondi Street in the 6th district, in June. Here we can welcome even more participants, while still maintaining the cozy, friendly atmosphere.
The summer also abounded in special events: there was a Boho beach bag workshop, a Glow & Go denim workshop, and in August we introduced the Bandana charm workshop, which was the first of its kind in Hungary, following international trends. We received an invitation to the Strand Festival, where we awaited festival-goers with a beading program for 4 days. This was the studio's first major outing, and to one of the biggest Hungarian music festivals, which was a fantastic experience for us too. And by the end of the summer, a new crochet clutch bag will be added to the range, and to top it off, we've also brought the first Italian charm bracelet workshop to the country!
What does Atelier D7 mean?
For me, Atelier D7 is more than a studio. It's a place where creation, inspiration and community meet. A space where everyone can find their own style and where creativity becomes a real experience. It's a special pleasure for me that so many of you love our workshops and that we can create together week after week!
